We finally got around to having our engagement party last weekend, at my parents’ place with 80 close mates and family. This photo was taken 5 minutes before we got the home made dance floor cranking and thus is the last half-decent image of me taken on the night, it all went downhill from there. The next day my legs were as stiff as posts and I had blisters on my feet from all the jivin’. Suffice to say it was a pretty solid evening. The show of love and support from everyone who turned up was nothing short of awesome.
Also, I’ve finished the second week of my trial at a landscape architecture firm in Bendigo. So far I’m absolutely loving it and I’ve been given some pretty good indicators that they intend to keep me there. This time next year, it looks like I’ll have my dream job and be married to my dream woman. Ace.
